Lunch Break

Because I wanted a panini. Because Mr. Bunny remembered Nundini's Foodstore.

I had the Parma Panini.

The word "panino" [pa'ni:no] is Italian (literally meaning small bread roll), with the plural panini. "Panini" is often used in a singular sense by speakers of English and French, and pluralised solecismically into "paninis".

His New Orleans Panini is their version of a muffletta.

A typical muffuletta consists of one muffuletta loaf, split horizontally. The loaf is then covered with a marinated olive salad, then layers of capicola, salami, mortadella, emmentaler, and provolone. The olive salad is considered the heart of the sandwich, and consists primarily of olives, along with celery, cauliflower and carrot.
